With our vast experience of exporting large orders throughout Europe and a specific LED luminaire within our range that could be manufactured to match all of their requirements, Astra was the first point of call when Tiofarma decided to build a new research and development facility in the Netherlands.
Tiofarma is a successful pharmaceutical company founded in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They are known for the development and production of a wide variety of medicines throughout Europe, working closely with their customers and suppliers. They have a reputation for maintaining high quality standards throughout the company and have invested a substantial amount of money developing new cleanroom facilities to that same standard.
Astra share in that same passion for good quality products and reliable service and so we worked closely with the cleanroom construction contractor to ensure all client requirements were met, making sure the luminaires integrated seamlessly, maintaining the integrity of the cleanroom facility they envisaged.
Astra manufacture a large range of specialist cleanroom luminaires, but the important specifications of this particular project resulted in a recommendation of our LED SAFESTEP luminaire, a walk-on luminaire specifically designed for use in cleanrooms with panel ceilings within the pharmaceutical industry, and one that, together with the client, we customised to meet every one of their requirements as seen below.
Having taken the time to understand and meet the client’s needs, Astra’s attention to detail and ability to adapt their products accordingly, meant that every luminaire Tiofarma received was reliable, custom-made and easily installed.
