Another few months have passed and it’s time for another update…

It is proving to be a very busy year with much activity and investment in the cleanroom industry throughout Europe, this together with the ever improving LED technology and a string of new product launches has given us plenty to talk about.

The summer has now arrived and due to popular demand we have decided to extend our ‘Summer Sizzler’ BBQ offer until the end of August, a small ‘thank-you’ in appreciation for your continued business and an encouragement to go outside and enjoy the unpredictably hot weather we have been having.

Always striving to better the quality and efficiency of our products for our customers, we have developed and improved the performance of one of our most popular LED luminaires, the SAFESTEP.

The SAFESTEP luminaire is specifically designed for use in cleanrooms and clean areas such as in the pharmaceutical, food, micro-electronic and healthcare industries. Aptly named, the SAFESTEP luminaires’ unique design integrates seamlessly into composite panel ceilings and provides walk-on protection, thus safe guarding personnel working above the ceiling.

LFL GOES LED!

We recently supplied the complete ceiling packages for two new build cleanrooms and a switch room in Huddersfield for Thornton and Ross.

Providing not only the lighting but also the filtration and ceiling grids for this project we had to make sure that every element integrated seamlessly together and that we made the right product recommendations to the client.

ASPAR Pharmaceutical St. Albans, Hertfordshire

Astra was selected to provide specialist cleanroom lighting to the new ASPAR pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.

Working closely with the cleanroom providers, Astra delivered over 600 LED luminaires from our range to this prestigious project.
