Having successfully completed numerous projects for Sanofi in the past and with our vast experience of exporting large orders throughout Europe, Astra was the first point of call when they decided to build a new research and development facility in France.
Sanofi Pasteur is the vaccines division of Sanofi, the largest company in the world devoted entirely to human vaccines. They distribute more than 1 billion doses of vaccines each year, inoculating more than 500 million people across the globe. In the last 5 years they have invested more than 1.5 billion euros into their research and development facilities to ensure the highest possible standards and choosing the best quality LED luminaires on the market is an important part of that investment.
Astra manufacture a large range of specialist cleanroom luminaires, but the important specifications of this particular project resulted in a recommendation of our LED SAFESTEP luminaire, a walk-on luminaire specifically designed for use in cleanrooms with panel ceilings within the pharmaceutical industry, and one that, together with the client, we customised to meet every crucial requirement as seen below.
